The Portable Clock Hidden Camera can be a tad tricky at first, so we wanted to make this quick start guide to make it as easy as possible for you to learn how to use it.

To turn camera power on: Flip the secret door on the right side of the unit, and move the switch from ‘OFF’ to ‘ON’. Then, hit the red power button on the remote control. A solid blue light will turn on; the device is now in standby mode.

The remote buttons: Here’s a guide the important buttons on the remote control.

Camcorder/Person: Motion-activated video mode

Camcorder only: Continuous video mode

To start recording video: Press the middle button with the camcorder and person on it for motion activated video, and the button on the right with just a camcorder for continuous video. The blue light will flash three times and will go out to conserve power. It’s now recording video.

To stop recording: press the same button again. The light will come back on and the camera will go back into standby mode.

To view the video/pictures: While the camera is in standby mode, plug the camera into a computer. It will then show up as a disk drive on your computer, and inside the drive are the videos you recorded earlier. You may need to download VLC media player to playback the file if you are having trouble with Windows Media Player or Quicktime.

To charge the battery: Flip the power switch to ‘OFF’. When plugged into a PC, the light will be red while charging and stop when charging is done.

To set the time:

•Hit the ‘set’ button on the clock. The time will start to flash.

•Use the ‘hour’ and ‘minute’ buttons to adjust the time. and then hit the ‘set’ button.

•It now asks for the time you want the alarm to go off (you can turn it off on the next step)

•Hit the ‘set’ button again, and it will have various icons on the unit. Hit the ‘hour’ and ‘minute’ buttons until all icons are removed from the screen; you don’t want the alarm to go off!
